象骨巖高人不到（千箇萬箇摸索不著。非公境界）到者須是弄蛇手（是精識精是賊識賊。成群作隊作什麼。也須是同火始得）
稜師備師不柰何（一狀領過。放過一著）
喪身失命有多少（罪不重科。帶累平人）
韶陽知（猶較些子。這老漢只具一隻眼。老漢不免作伎倆）重撥草（落草漢有什麼用處。果然在什麼處。便打）
南北東西無處討（有麼有麼。闍黎眼瞎）
忽然突出拄杖頭（看高著眼。便打）拋對雪峯大張口（自作自受。吞却千箇萬箇濟什麼事。天下人摸索不著）
大張口兮同閃電（兩重公案。果然。賴有末後句）
剔起眉毛還不見（蹉過了也。五湖四海。覓恁麼人也難得。如今在什麼處）
如今藏在乳峯前（向什麼處去也。大小雪竇也作這去就。山僧今日。也遭一口）
來者一一看方便（瞎。莫向脚跟下看。看取上座脚跟下。著一箭了也）
師高聲喝云。看脚下（賊過後張弓。第二頭第三頭。重言不當吃）

Elephant Bone Cliff is high; no man reaches it (Thousands and myriads grope without finding it. It is not your realm).
One who arrives must be a hand at handling snakes (A spirit recognizes a spirit, a thief recognizes a thief. What are you doing flocking in crowds? One must be of the same gang).
Master Leng and Master Bei could do nothing about it (Acknowledging the indictment in full. Let him off one move).
How many have lost their bodies and forfeited their lives? (A crime is not punished twice. Dragging in innocent people).

Thrown before Xuefeng, its mouth gaping wide (Suffering the results of his own deeds. Swallowing thousands and myriads—what help is it? People under heaven cannot grope it out)!
The mouth gaping wide is like a flash of lightning (A double gong'an. Sure enough. Fortunately there is the final word),
Raise your eyebrows, and still it is not seen (You have missed it. In the five lakes and four seas, such a person is hard to find. Where is it now?).
Now it is hidden before Milk Peak (Where did it go? The great and small Xuedous also make such moves. Today this mountain monk also suffered a bite).
Let those who come each observe the expedient means (Blind! Do not look under your heels. Look under the elder's heels! Hit by an arrow)!
