編辟曾挨老古錐（何必拶著這老漢。挨拶向什麼處去）七斤衫重幾人知（再來不直半分錢。直得口似匾擔。又却被他贏得一籌）
如今拋擲西湖裏（還雪竇手脚始得。山僧也不要）
下載清風付與誰（自古自今。且道雪竇與他酬唱。與他下注脚。一子親得）

Pressing hard, he once jostled the old awl; (Why press against this old fellow? Jostling, where does he go?)
How many people know the weight of the seven-catty robe? (Coming again, it's not worth half a coin. Causing his mouth to be like a shoulder pole. Yet once more he has won a point over him.)
Now tossed into West Lake, (One must have Xuedou's hands and feet to get it. This mountain monk doesn't want it either.)
To whom is the pure breeze of a loaded boat entrusted? (From antiquity to the present. Tell me, Xuedou chimes in with him and sets down a footnote for him. One son intimately obtains it.)
