末後句（已在言前。將謂真箇。覷著則瞎）為君說（舌頭落也。說不著。有頭無尾有尾無頭）
明暗雙雙底時節（葛藤老漢。如牛無角似虎有角。彼此是恁麼）
同條生也共相知（是何種族。彼此沒交涉。君向瀟湘我向秦）不同條死還殊絕（拄杖子在我手裏。爭怪得山僧。爾鼻孔為什麼在別人手裏）
還殊絕（還要喫棒麼。有什麼摸索處）
黃頭碧眼須甄別（盡大地人亡鋒結舌。我也恁麼。他人却不恁麼。只許老胡知。不許老胡會）
南北東西歸去來（收。脚跟下。猶帶五色線在。乞爾一條拄杖子）
夜深同看千巖雪（猶較半月程。從他大地雪漫漫。填溝塞壑無人會。也只是箇瞎漢。還識得末後句麼。便打）

"The last word / spoken for you — / A time when brightness and darkness are both twofold. / Born on the same branch, they know each other; / Not dying on the same branch is even more extraordinary. / Truly extraordinary! / The yellow-headed and the blue-eyed must make a distinction. / North, south, east, west: come back! / Late at night, looking together at the snow on a thousand peaks."
