孤危不立道方高（須是到這田地始得。言猶在耳。還他本分草料）入海還須釣巨鼇（坐斷要津不通凡聖。蝦蜆螺蚌不足問。大丈夫漢。不可兩兩三三）
堪笑同時灌溪老（也有恁麼人曾恁麼來。也有恁麼用機關底手脚）
解云劈箭亦徒勞（猶較半月程。似則似是則未是）

"When the solitary and precipitous is not established, the Way is truly lofty; / Entering the sea, one must angle for the giant turtle. / Laughable is his contemporary, old Guanxi, / Whose boast of 'splitting the arrow' was also in vain."
