六識無功伸一問（有眼如盲。有耳如聾。明鏡當臺。明珠在掌。一句道盡）
作家曾共辨來端（何必。也要辨箇緇素。唯證乃知）茫茫急水打毬子（始終一貫。過也。道什麼）
落處不停誰解看（看即瞎過也。灘下接取）

"The six consciousnesses without effort pose a question; (Having eyes as though blind; having ears as though deaf. The bright mirror stands on its stand; the bright pearl rests in the palm. A single phrase expresses it completely.) / An adept master has tested where it comes from. (What need is there? One must still distinguish black from white. Only through realization is it known.) / On vast, rushing water, striking a ball— (Consistent from beginning to end. Gone past. What are you saying?) / Where it lands, it does not stop: who knows how to watch it?" (Watching it, one goes blind. Gone past. Catch it below the rapids!)
