[Case 5] Taking up: Xuefeng gave instruction to the assembly, saying, (One blind person leading a crowd of blind people. It is not beyond his bounds.) 'The entire great earth, gathered together, is the size of a grain of millet. (What kind of skill is this? This mountain monk has never played tricks with ghostly eyes.) Cast it before your face— (I only fear you cannot cast it down. What trick does he have?) the black lacquer tub does not understand! (Relying on power to bully people. Accept it yourself and leave! Better not deceive the great assembly.) Beat the drum, call all to collective work, and look!' (Blind! Beating the drum for the three armies.)
