太平治業無象（旄頭星現也未）野老家風至淳（爭如我這裏種田博飯喫）
只管村歌社飲（窮鬼子快活不徹也）那知舜德堯仁（始成忠孝）

"The undertaking of great peace has no outward sign; (Has the broom star appeared yet?)
The rustic elder's family tradition is supremely pure. (How does that compare to my plowing fields here to trade for food to eat?)
He cares only for village songs and communal drinking; (The poor fellow's merriment is never exhausted!)
How would he know of the virtue of Shun or the benevolence of Yao? (Only now are loyalty and filiality fulfilled.)"
