藥之作病（胡人飲乳返怪良醫）鑒乎前聖（師多脈亂）病之作醫（以藥下藥以毒去毒）
必也其誰（莫是天童麼）白頭黑頭兮克家之子（一窰燒就）
有句無句兮截流之機（更使溈山笑轉新）堂堂坐斷舌頭路（一死不再活）
應笑毘耶老古錐（只得一橛）

"Medicine becoming an illness— (The barbarian drinks milk and in turn blames the good physician.)
Take warning from the ancient sages! (Too many physicians confuse the pulse.)
Illness becoming medicine— (Treating medicine with medicine; removing poison with poison.)
Who must that be? (Could it be Tiantong?)
White head and black head—sons who can carry on the family; (Fired from a single kiln!)
With phrases and without phrases—the dynamic that cuts off the flow. (Causing Guishan to laugh all over again!)
Magnificently they cut off the road of the tongue, (Dead once, they do not live again.)
And should laugh at that old awl of Vaiśālī. (Only got hold of one end.)"
