舉。地藏問脩山主。甚處來（道不知來處得麼）脩云。南方來（好與下載）藏云。南方近日佛法如何（行說好話）脩云。商量浩浩地（低聲）藏云。爭如我這裏種田博飯喫（少賣弄）脩云。爭奈三界何（猶有這箇在）藏云。爾喚甚麼作三界（南方猶可北方更曬）。

Case: Dizang asked Mountain Master Xiu, 'Where do you come from?' (Can one say one does not know the place of origin?) Xiu said, 'I come from the south.' (A good burden to lay down.) Dizang said, 'How is the Buddha Dharma in the south these days?' (Going along speaking good words.) Xiu said, 'Discussions are surging and roaring.' (Lower your voice!) Dizang said, 'How can that compare to my planting fields here to barter for rice to eat?' (Show off less.) Xiu said, 'What can be done about the triple realm?' (There is still this present.) Dizang said, 'What do you call the triple realm?' (The south is still passable; the north is even more sunbaked.)
