切瑳琢磨（不因一事）變態殽訛（不長一智）葛陂化龍之杖（已聞過海穿雲）
陶家居蟄之梭（猶見倚牆貼壁）同條生兮有數（世相近也）
同條死兮無多（習相遠也）末後句只這是（且信一半）
風舟載月浮秋水（切忌垛根）

"Cutting, filing, carving, polishing; (Not experiencing an event...) / Transformations, alterations, mix-ups, errors. (...does not increase one's wisdom.) / The staff of Gepi turning into a dragon, (Already heard of crossing seas and piercing clouds.) / The shuttle hibernating at Tao's house. (Still seen leaning against walls and sticking to partitions.) / Being born on the same branch has its numbers; (In nature, they are close.) / Dying on the same branch has few. (In practice, they diverge.) / The final word—just this is it: (For now, believe half of it.) / The wind-borne boat carrying the moon floats on autumn waters." (Desperately avoid piling up roots.)
