示眾云。有時忠誠扣己。苦屈難申。有時殃及向人。承當不下。臨行賤折倒。末後最慇懃。泪出痛腸。更難隱諱。還有冷眼者麼。

The Master instructed the assembly, saying: "Sometimes, sincere devotion is brought upon oneself, and bitter grievance is hard to express; sometimes, disaster extends to others, and they cannot take it upon themselves. When about to depart, one is belittled and broken down; at the very end, one is most earnestly attentive. Tears flow from an aching heart, harder still to conceal. Is there anyone with cold, detached eyes?"
