斫斷老葛藤（轉生枝蔓）打破狐窠窟（更吐頑涎）豹披霧而變文（脫却皮毛）
龍乘雷而換骨（別改軀殼）咄（一喝萬機罷三朝兩耳聾）起滅紛紛是何物（好客無疎伴）

"Cutting through the old entangling vines, / (Turn around and sprout branches and creepers.)
Smashing the foxes' dens and burrows. / (Spitting out stubborn saliva again.)
The leopard dons the mist to change its markings; / (Shedding the pelt and fur.)
The dragon rides the thunder to exchange its bones. / (Undergoing an altered body.)
Tut! / (With one shout, ten thousand mechanisms cease; for three days, both ears are deaf.)
