舉。維摩詰問文殊師利。何等是菩薩入不二法門（問處第幾）文殊師利曰（好與劈口𡎺）如我意者（醞造將來）於一切法（更嫌少）無言無說（把火照看）無示無識（有也來）離諸問答（面皮厚多少）是為入不二法門（如何是）於是文殊師利問維摩詰言。我等各自說已（能說快說）仁者當說。何等是菩薩入不二法門（一遞一刮不賭惡發）維摩默然（甚麼處去也）。

Case: Vimalakīrti asked Mañjuśrī, "What is a bodhisattva's entering the Dharma-gate of non-duality?" (What number is this question?) / Mañjuśrī said, (It would be fitting to strike his mouth directly.) "As I see it, (Concocting it right along.) regarding all dharmas, (Still dissatisfied that it is too little.) there is no word, no speech, (Bring a fire to inspect it.) no indication, no cognition, (Now it comes!) leaving behind all questions and answers: (How thick is his face skin?) this is entering the Dharma-gate of non-duality." (What is it?) / Thereupon Mañjuśrī asked Vimalakīrti, "We have each spoken. (Able to speak, quick to speak!) Benevolent One, you should speak: what is a bodhisattva's entering the Dharma-gate of non-duality?" (One gives, one scrapes; not betting on an evil outburst.) / Vimalakīrti remained silent. (Where did he go?)
