抗力霜雪（貧則獨善一身）平步雲霄（達則兼濟天下）下惠出國（苦瓠連根苦）
相如過橋（甜瓜徹蒂甜）蕭曹謀略能成漢（葵花向日）
巢許身心欲避堯（柳絮隨風）寵辱若驚深自信（悟須實悟參須實參）
真情參跡混漁樵（未免靈龜曳尾）

Enduring frost and snow (in poverty, perfecting oneself alone);
Walking flat on clouds and mist (in success, benefiting all under heaven).
Liuxia Hui leaves his home state (the bitter gourd is bitter right to the root);
Sima Xiangru crosses the bridge (the sweet melon is sweet right to the stem).
The strategies of Xiao and Cao could establish the Han (sunflowers turning to the sun);
The minds and bodies of Chaofu and Xu You wished to shun Yao (willow catkins drifting with the wind).
'Favor and disgrace seem alarming'—having deep self-confidence (awakening requires true awakening, practice requires genuine practice);
With true feeling, one blends one's traces among fishermen and woodcutters (unable to avoid the sacred turtle dragging its tail).
