4.32

綴綴功過（唯除頓覺人）膠膠因果（并法不隨順）鏡外狂奔演若多（脚下煙生）
杖頭擊著破竈墮（百雜碎）竈墮破（靈從何生聖從何至）
來相賀（伏惟墮㦬）却道。從前辜負我（何不早道）

Continuously, merit and fault— (Only excepting one who awakens suddenly.) / Stiffly bound by cause and effect; (Even phenomena do not accord.) / Outside the mirror, frantically running, Yajñadatta! (Smoke arises beneath the feet.) / The head of the staff strikes down the Broken Stove; (Shattered into a hundred pieces.) / The stove breaks down— (From where does numinous power arise? Whence does sanctity arrive?) / He comes to offer congratulations: (Humbly prostrating before the fallen stove.) / But turns and says, 'All along you have failed me!' (Why didn't you say so earlier?)
