舉。洞山不安。僧問。和尚病還有不病者麼。（一任分疏）山云有（強主張）僧云。不病者還看和尚否（世諦流布）山云。老僧看他有分（本分相見）僧云。和尚看他時如何（有甚麼眼相見）山云。則不見有病（只是不肯參假）。

Case: Dongshan was unwell. A monk asked, 'The Venerable is ill; is there still one who is not ill?' (Let him explain at will.) / Dongshan said, 'There is.' (Strongly taking a stand.) / The monk said, 'Does the one who is not ill look after the Venerable?' (Flowing through worldly truth.) / Dongshan said, 'This old monk has the duty to look after him.' (Meeting according to the fundamental affair.) / The monk said, 'When the Venerable looks after him, what is it like?' (What eyes does he have to meet him?) / Dongshan said, 'Then I do not see that there is any illness.' (He simply refuses to participate in falsehood.)
