循規守矩。無繩自縛。縱橫無礙。外道魔軍。存心澄寂。
默照邪禪。恣意忘緣。墮落深坑。惺惺不昧。
帶鎖擔枷。思善思惡。地獄天堂。佛見法見。
二銕圍山。念起即覺。弄精魂漢。兀然習定。
鬼家活計。進則迷理。退則乖宗。不進不退。
有氣死人。且道如何履踐。努力今生須了却。
莫教永劫受餘殃。

Following rules and keeping regulations binds oneself without a rope. / Unchecked and unobstructed is the demon army of non-Buddhists. / Harboring the mind in pristine stillness is the heterodox Chan of silent illumination. / Giving free rein to mind and forgetting conditions is falling into a deep pit. / Lucid and unconfused is wearing locks and bearing the cangue. / Thinking of good and thinking of evil is hell and heaven. / Views of Buddha and views of Dharma are the two Iron Surrounding Mountains. / Becoming aware as soon as a thought arises is a fellow playing with a ghost. / Sitting rigidly practicing concentration is the lively trade of the ghost's household. / Advancing loses the principle; retreating betrays the lineage. / Neither advancing nor retreating is a corpse that still breathes. / Tell me, how should one step? / Strive hard to resolve it in this life; / do not let yourself suffer residual calamities for eternal kalpas.
