塞却咽喉何處出氣。笑我者多哂我者少。

Losing time, the forest of vines turns barren;
Pursuing people's intentions, stagnant flesh grows emaciated.
Tut, tut, tut! Li-wei-xi!
The Chan student, in astonishment, lowers his brows.
Above, one sees no heaven; below, one sees no earth.
Choking the throat, where can breath come out?
Those who laugh at me are many; those who sneer at me are few.
