安曰。正中偏乃垂慈接物。即主中賓。第一句奪人也。偏中正有照有用。即賓中主。第二句奪境也。正中來乃奇特受用。即主中主。第三句人境俱奪也。兼中至乃非有非無。即賓中賓。第四句人境俱不奪也。兼中到出格自在。離四句絕百非。妙盡本無之妙也。

An said: "The partial within the upright is bestowing compassion to receive beings; that is the guest within the host. The first phrase is snatching away the person. The upright within the partial has illumination and function; that is the host within the guest. The second phrase is snatching away the environment. Arriving from within the upright is extraordinary reception and use; that is the host within the host. The third phrase is snatching away both person and environment. Arrival within integration is neither existence nor non-existence; that is the guest within the guest. The fourth phrase is snatching away neither person nor environment. Attainment within integration transcends standards and is unconstrained, leaving behind the four propositions and cutting off the hundred negations; it is the marvel of exhausting the marvel of fundamental non-existence."
