明安云。謂情境不圓滯在取舍。前後偏枯鑒覺不全。是識浪流轉。途中邊岸事（一作途中未分邊岸事）直須句句中離二邊不滯情境。

Ming'an said: This means feelings and environment are not rounded, obstructed in taking and rejecting. Front and back are partial and withered, illumination and awareness are incomplete. This is the churning of consciousness waves, an affair of the shores along the journey (also written as: an affair of shores not yet distinguished along the journey). One must, in every phrase, depart from the two extremes and not be obstructed by feelings and environment.
