琊因僧請益次乃曰。山僧亦有三句報答大陽。僧問。如何是平常無生句。瑘云。言前無的旨。句下絕追尋。印云三脚蝦蟆背巨鰲。

While a monk was asking for instruction, Ye said, 'This mountain monk also has three phrases to repay Dayang.' The monk asked, 'What is the ordinary unproduced phrase?' Ye said, 'Before words, there is no exact intention; beneath the phrase, pursuit is cut off.' Xin said, 'A three-legged toad carries a giant sea turtle on its back.'
