殘年七十。九坐道場。棘曲松道。山高水長。兩笠烟簑人不識。
一聲秋笛落瀟湘。

At seventy years of remaining age,
Nine times he occupied the bodhimaṇḍa.
Thorns bend along the pine path;
Mountains are high and waters are long.
In two bamboo hats and a misty straw cloak, unrecognized by people,
A single sound of an autumn flute descends upon the Xiao and Xiang.
