Catties and ounces are not retained to divide buying and selling; / Where deliberation cannot reach, show him no leniency. / The radiance of the balance plate makes the dots hard to discern; / An equal scale naturally knows the amount. / Only a deaf person is fit to discuss what is exact; / Only a blind man understands how to adjust high and low. / At leisure, take it in and hang it outside heaven and earth; / Boundless devas and nāgas secretly knit their brows.
