僧問。王子未登朝時如何。汾云。六宮歌雪曲。八國聽韶音。祖云。逢人當問路。巖云。深宮雖不出。化外已傳芳。

A monk asked, 'What is it like when the prince has not yet ascended the court?' / Fen said, 'The six palaces sing snowy songs; the eight kingdoms listen to the music of Shao.' / Zu said, 'When meeting someone, you should ask for the road.' / Yan said, 'Though he does not step out from the deep palace, his fragrant renown has already spread beyond civilization.'
