如付此法，須得上根智，深信佛法，立於大悲，持此經，以為稟承，於今不絕。
When entrusting this Dharma, one must find someone of superior faculties and wisdom, deeply faithful to the Buddha-Dharma, and grounded in great compassion, to uphold this sūtra as the transmission, which continues unbroken to this day.
