（師仍以衣酬之。辯取衣分為三，一披塑像，一自留，一用椶裹瘞地中。誓曰：「後得此衣，乃吾出世，住持於此，重建殿宇。」宋嘉祐八年，有僧惟先，修殿掘地，得衣如新。像在高泉寺，祈禱輒應）。

(The Master further rewarded him with a robe. Fangbian took the robe and divided it into three: one to drape over the sculpted image, one kept for himself, and one wrapped in palm bark and buried in the ground. He made a vow, saying, "Whoever finds this robe in the future will be my rebirth, who will dwell as abbot here and rebuild the halls." In the eighth year of the Jiayou era of the Song, a monk named Weixian, while repairing the hall and excavating the ground, obtained the robe looking like new. The image is at Gaoquan Temple, and prayers to it are always answered.)
