「惠能是為三十三祖。從上諸祖，各有稟承。汝等向後，遞代流傳毋令乖誤。」

"Huineng is the thirty-third patriarch. The patriarchs from the past have each had their line of succession. You in the future must pass it down from generation to generation; do not allow it to be corrupted or lost."
