The Master, seeing that those of various schools raising difficult questions all gave rise to ill intentions, and that many gathered below his seat, took pity on them and said: 'Practitioners of the Way should completely eradicate all thoughts of good and evil. Having no name that can be named, it is designated as svabhāva; the nature of non-duality is called the real nature. All gates of teaching are established upon the real nature; at these words, you must see it for yourselves.' When the people heard this spoken, they all bowed and requested to serve him as their master.
