上堂云百種多知。不如無求。最第一也。道人是無事人。實無許多般心。亦無道理可說。無事散去。
Entering the hall, he said: "Having a hundred kinds of vast knowledge is not as good as being without seeking; this is foremost. A person of the Way is a person of no affairs. Truly, there are not so many kinds of mind, nor is there any principle to speak of. Having no affairs, disperse!"
