跋陀三藏云。理心者。心非理外。理非心外。心即是理。理即是心。心理平等。名之為理。理照能明。名之為心。覺。心理平等。名之為佛。心。會實性者。不見生死涅槃有別。凡聖無異。境智一如。理事俱融。真俗齊觀。圓通無礙。名修大道。

Tripiṭaka Master Bhadra says: "As for the citta of principle: citta is not outside principle, and principle is not outside citta. Citta is itself principle; principle is itself citta. The equality of principle and citta is termed principle. The illumination of principle capable of clarity is termed citta. Awakening to the equality of principle and citta is termed Buddha. For a citta that accords with true nature, it sees no distinction between birth-and-death and nirvāṇa; ordinary being and sage are no different. Objective realm and cognition are as one; principle and phenomena are entirely fused. True and conventional are contemplated equally; perfect penetration is unobstructed—this is termed cultivating the Great Way."
