答。自思量看。是之與不是。莫問他人。若直下見。更不圖度。佛法只在方寸。心外斷行蹤。但一心一智慧。離內外中間取受。三際理玄。便入無為道。

Answer: "Deliberate for yourself and see: is it, or is it not? Do not ask others. If you see it directly, do not scheme and calculate any further. The Buddha Dharma is only in the square inch of the mind; outside the mind, traces of action are severed. Simply with one mind and one wisdom, apart from grasping and receiving inside, outside, or in between, the principle of the three periods of time is profound, and you will enter the unconditioned path."
