古德問云。佛性共有。諸佛。成佛時。眾生盡合成佛。若言各別有。應是無常。

An ancient master asked: 'The Buddha-nature is shared in common. When all Buddhas attained Buddhahood, all sentient beings should have attained Buddhahood together. If it is said that they possess it separately, it should be impermanent.'
