20.12

問。若實心外無法。獨標宗者。無諸佛則無能化之人。無眾生則無所化之眾。全歸無寄。何以紹隆。

Question: If truly there are no phenomena outside of citta and only the source is singled out, then without buddhas there would be no person capable of transforming [others], and without sentient beings there would be no multitude to be transformed. Since it entirely reverts to having nowhere to rely, how can [the Dharma] be continued and propagated?
