問中難釋摩男。明人中即受天報。何故云人絕階於七珍之土。又舉餓鬼。欲明人不絕鬼限域。可即人報成鬼報耶。

The objection in the question raised Mahānāma to show that deva retribution can be received right within the human realm, asking why humans are said to be cut off from ascending to the land of the seven treasures; and it also brought up hungry ghosts to show that humans are not separated from the boundary of ghosts, asking whether human retribution can directly become ghost retribution.
