22.14

問。經云。佛言學我法者。唯證乃知。今言菩提者。不可以身心得。無修無證。則初發菩提心人。如何趣向。

Question: A sūtra says: 'The Buddha said: Those who learn my Dharma know it only through realization.' Now you say that bodhi cannot be obtained by body or citta, that there is neither cultivation nor realization. In that case, how should one who has first generated the bodhicitta proceed toward it?
