問。此妙明性。既非因緣自然。則無有一法不從和合而生。如無所證之真如。何由發能證之妙智。則境智和合。能成見性。

Question: Since this wondrously bright nature is neither cause and condition nor natural spontaneity, then there is no single dharma that is not born from combination. For example, without the tathatā that is realised, by what means could the wondrous jñāna that is capable of realising it be aroused? Thus the combination of realm and jñāna can constitute the seeing-nature.
