問曰。華嚴頓教大乘。可得約行明諸法門。此方等經。及小乘教。何得亦約觀行明義。

Question: In the Mahāyāna of the sudden teaching of the Avataṃsaka, one may explain the various Dharma gates in terms of practice; but in these Vaipulya sūtras and the Hīnayāna teachings, how can one also explain the meaning in terms of the practice of contemplation?
