難曰。夫真諦深玄。非智不測。聖智之能。在茲而顯。故經云。不得般若。不見真諦。真諦則般若之緣也。以緣求智。智則知矣。
The objection says: The ultimate truth is profound and mysterious; without wisdom it cannot be fathomed. The capability of holy wisdom is made manifest herein. Hence the sūtra says: 'Without obtaining prajñā, one does not see the ultimate truth.' The ultimate truth is then the condition (pratyaya) for prajñā. If one seeks wisdom through conditions, wisdom is then knowing.
