夫萬行教法。總約心解者。只如諸佛所說經教。皆以名句文身。詮表。方成法義。云何但明一心而已。

Now, if the myriad practices and doctrinal teachings are all explained in terms of the mind, then take simply the sutra teachings spoken by the buddhas: all use the collection of names, phrases, and syllables to express and manifest [them], and only then are the doctrinal principles established. How can one explain only the one mind and nothing else?
