問。若言有堅住性及無記性二義。便名所熏者。且如第五心所。同心王具此二義。應是所熏。又如無為亦有堅住性義。為所熏何失。

Question: If possessing the two characteristics of having the nature of firm abide and having indeterminate nature means being the passive recipient of perfuming, then the five mental factors [associated with the eighth consciousness], possessing these two characteristics together with the citta king, should also be passive recipients of perfuming. Furthermore, unconditioned dharmas also possess the characteristic of the nature of firm abide; what fault is there in their being passive recipients of perfuming?
