問。若言有堅住性無記性及可熏性三義。即是所熏者。應可此人第八識。受他人前七識熏。以此人第八是可熏性故。

Question: If possessing the three characteristics of having the nature of firm abide, having indeterminate nature, and having the nature of being perfumable means being the passive recipient of perfuming, then this person's eighth consciousness should be able to receive the perfuming of another person's prior seven consciousnesses, because this person's eighth consciousness has the nature of being perfumable.
