答曰。若法自體。唯證智知。言說不及。是為自相。若法體性。言說所及。假智所緣。是為共相。

The answer states: 'If the phenomenal substance is known only by realized cognition and is beyond the reach of verbal explanation, it is the particular characteristic. If the essential nature of a phenomenon is reached by verbal explanation and conditioned by nominal cognition, it is the common characteristic.'
