答。由不通比非二量。故無執。故知五識現量緣境。不執為外。皆是唯識。
Answer: Because they do not pertain to the two pramāṇas of inference (anumāna) or non-pramāṇa, they are free from clinging. Thus we know that the five consciousnesses cognizing objects through pratyakṣa do not cling to them as external; all are vijñaptimātra.
