問。外塵無體。唯識理成。正教昭然。妙旨非謬。今凡夫所執。多徇妄情。以見聞之心。熏習之力。多執現見之境。難斷纖疑。前雖廣明。猶慮未信。更希再示。以破執情。

Question: External dust has no substance; the principle of consciousness-only is established. The correct teaching is luminous, and its wondrous purport is not erroneous. Now, what ordinary beings grasp mostly conforms to false sentiments; through the mind of seeing and hearing and the power of habituation, they mostly grasp the objects seen presently before them, making it difficult to sever the slightest doubt. Although it was explained extensively before, there is still concern that they may not believe. We hope you will demonstrate it once more to shatter their clinging sentiments.
