67.19

答。凡愚妄見。此非可信。生滅之法。皆悉是空。生滅輪轉。無暫停時。相似相續。故妄見有實。猶如燈焰念念生滅。凡夫愚人。謂為一焰。

Answer: This is the false perception of ordinary fools; it is not to be trusted. Phenomena of arising and ceasing are all empty. Arising and ceasing revolve in samsāra without pausing for an instant. Because of a resemblance in succession, they falsely see them as real, just as the flame of a lamp arises and ceases instant by instant, yet ordinary fools regard it as a single flame.
