答。境既是虛。見云何實。如在夢中。謂眼等識。緣色等境。覺時知彼二事俱無。妄境倒心。亦復如是。愚夫謂有。聖者知無。

Answer: Since the object is false, how could the view be real? Just as in a dream one supposes that consciousnesses such as the visual consciousness condition objects such as form, yet upon awakening one knows that both matters are non-existent; false objects and the inverted mind are just like this. The foolish ordinary person calls them existent; the sage knows they are non-existent.
