答。諸色眼曾現見。及眼界。於此增上。是色界相。眼界於此增上者。謂依色根增上力。外境生故。如色界相。聲香味觸法界相。亦爾。

Answer: Various forms that the eye has seen in the past and presently sees, as well as the eye element being predominant with respect to them: this is the characteristic of the form element. "The eye element being predominant with respect to them" means that external objects arise based on the predominant condition of the material faculty. As with the characteristic of the form element, the characteristics of the elements of sound, odor, taste, tangible, and dharma are also like this.
