外人又難。若爾者。且如第六識緣空華無體法時。有所慮義。應成所緣緣。為識是能緣慮故。

The opponent raises another objection: If so, then when the sixth consciousness takes substanceless dharmas like sky-flowers as objects, there is the meaning of being deliberated upon, and so it should constitute an objective condition, because consciousness is capable of cognition and deliberation.
