答。假法有二種。一有體假。即依圓性中諸假法也。二無體假。即遍計所執也。若我若法。空華兔角等。但簡無體非所緣緣。不簡有體故。

Answer: Nominal phenomena are of two kinds: first, nominal [phenomena] possessing substance, which are the various nominal phenomena within the dependent and consummate natures; second, nominal [phenomena] lacking substance, which are the imaginary—such as self or dharmas, sky-flowers, rabbit horns, and so forth. We only exclude those lacking substance from being object-conditions, not those possessing substance.
