72.24

問。若有決定義。便是所依者。即如四大種及命根。五塵等及種子。皆有決定義。應是所依。有現行識時。必決定有種子故。

Question: If possessing the meaning of determination means that it is a basis, then the four great elements, the vital faculty, the five sense data, and seeds all possess the meaning of determination, and so they should be bases; for when an active consciousness is present, seeds are definitely and determinately present.
